Description

Almond Flour Chocolate Chip Cookies are soft, chewy, and naturally gluten-free. Made with almond flour, rich chocolate chips, and simple wholesome ingredients, these cookies are a better-for-you twist on a classic. With no chilling required and just one bowl, they’re perfect for quick baking and clean eating cravings.

Ingredients

  • Blanched, finely ground almond flour
  • Baking soda
  • Salt
  • Unsalted butter or coconut oil, softened
  • Brown sugar or coconut sugar
  • Egg
  • Vanilla extract
  • Chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together almond flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg and vanilla.
  4. Stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until a soft dough forms.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto the prepared baking sheet, spaced 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are golden.
  8. Let cookies cool on the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • Use chopped dark chocolate for melted pools of chocolate.
  • Coconut oil and dairy-free chips make it dairy-free.
  • Top with flaky sea salt before baking for a sweet-salty contrast.
  • Add a pinch of cinnamon or espresso powder for extra flavor.
  • Mix in chopped nuts or shredded coconut for texture.
