Description

This Creamy Garlic Butter Steak with Alfredo Tortellini recipe is an indulgent one-skillet meal featuring juicy steak bites and cheesy tortellini in a rich, homemade Alfredo sauce. Perfect for a cozy dinner, this dish brings bold garlic butter flavor and creamy comfort together in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 9 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. Season steak bites with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak on all sides until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  5. Add heavy cream, bring to a simmer, and stir in Parmesan until melted and creamy.

  6. Toss in the cooked tortellini to coat with the sauce.

  7. Return steak to the skillet, gently mix everything together.

  8. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Swap steak with grilled chicken or shrimp for variety.
  • Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Use spinach or mushroom tortellini for extra flavor.
  • Substitute half-and-half for a lighter version.
  • Add sautéed mushrooms or spinach for more vegetables.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days; reheat with a splash of cream or milk.
