Description

These Creamy Garlic Chicken Rice Bowls are loaded with bold garlic flavor, juicy chicken, fluffy rice, and a rich parmesan cream sauce. This 30-minute meal is quick, comforting, and perfect for lunch, dinner, or easy meal prep!

Ingredients

  • Boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs
  • Cooked white or brown rice
  • Olive oil
  • 45 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley or green onions (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add chicken broth, then stir in heavy cream and Parmesan. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Slice cooked chicken and return to skillet. Toss to coat in creamy garlic sauce.
  6. Serve over warm cooked rice. Garnish with parsley or green onions if desired.

Notes

  • Add veggies like broccoli, spinach, or red peppers to bulk it up.
  • For a lighter version, use half-and-half or coconut milk.
  • Spice it up with crushed red pepper flakes or hot sauce.
  • Serve over cauliflower rice for a low-carb alternative.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
