Description

Crockpot Steak Bites are tender, juicy chunks of beef slow-cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce for the ultimate comfort food. This easy slow cooker recipe uses budget-friendly cuts of meat to create melt-in-your-mouth beef that’s perfect over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles—ideal for busy weeknights or meal prep.

Ingredients

  • Stew meat or sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Butter, melted
  • Minced garlic
  • Beef broth
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Onion powder
  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season steak bites with salt, pepper, and onion powder.

  2. (Optional) Sear the steak bites in a hot skillet until browned for extra flavor.

  3. Transfer beef to the crockpot. Add minced garlic, melted butter, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir gently to combine.

  4. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until beef is tender.

  5. Before serving, stir and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Add mushrooms or onions for extra heartiness.
  • Stir in a splash of soy sauce or balsamic vinegar for a flavor twist.
  • Add red pepper flakes for a spicy variation.
  • Thicken the sauce with cornstarch slurry during the last 30 minutes if desired.
