Description

This garlic sauce for pizza is creamy, bold, and packed with flavor—perfect for dipping crusts, drizzling over slices, or pairing with breadsticks and more. Made with simple pantry staples, it’s a quick and delicious addition to any pizza night. Better than store-bought and ready in just 10 minutes!

Ingredients

½ cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons butter

2–3 cloves garlic, minced or finely grated

2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes, just until fragrant. Do not brown.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in mayonnaise and Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.
  4. Season with a pinch of salt and add lemon juice for brightness, if desired.
  5. Let cool slightly before serving or store for later use.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes or hot sauce.
  • Swap raw garlic with roasted garlic for a milder, sweeter taste.
  • Use vegan butter, mayo, and cheese for a plant-based version.
  • Thin with warm water or milk if needed for drizzling consistency.
  • Great as a dip for fries, veggies, or spread on sandwiches.
