Ingredients
- 6–8 soft flour tortillas (taco size)
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- Honey, for drizzling
Optional glaze (for dipping):
- 2 tbsp cream cheese
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- Splash of milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix filling: In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Assemble: Brush one side of each tortilla with melted butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and lightly drizzle with honey.
- Roll-up: Roll tortillas tightly and place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake: Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until lightly golden and crisp on the edges.
(Alternatively, pan-fry in a nonstick skillet over medium heat until golden on all sides.) - Serve: Drizzle with more honey before serving. For an optional glaze, whisk cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until smooth for dipping.
Notes
- Cream cheese filling: Add a layer of cream cheese before the cinnamon sugar for extra richness.
- Nutty crunch: Sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts before rolling.
- Air fryer method: Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 6–8 minutes.
- Vegan-friendly: Use plant-based butter and agave instead of honey.
- Spiced variation: Add a pinch of nutmeg or cardamom to the cinnamon mix for extra depth.
