Description

These Quick and Easy Sesame Garlic Ramen Noodles are bold, saucy, and ready in just 10 minutes. With rich sesame oil, fragrant garlic, soy sauce, and a hint of sweetness, this fast and flavorful dish turns simple noodles into a comforting meal that’s better than takeout—and easier too!

Ingredients

  • 2 packs instant ramen noodles (seasoning packets discarded)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1.5 tbsp toasted sesame oil (divided)
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook ramen noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet or wok over medium heat, add 1 tbsp sesame oil and sauté the garlic for about 30 seconds, just until fragrant.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, water, and remaining sesame oil. Let the sauce bubble for a minute to meld the flavors.
  4. Add cooked noodles to the skillet. Toss until evenly coated and warmed through.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • For added protein, top with a fried or soft-boiled egg.
  • Add sautéed mushrooms, spinach, or shredded carrots for extra nutrition.
  • Spice it up with chili garlic sauce or sriracha.
  • Works with rice noodles or udon as well.
  • Reheat with a splash of water or broth to loosen the sauce.
