Spinach Dip Cheese Crisps are a low-carb, gluten-free snack that brings together cheesy crunch and creamy spinach dip flavor in one irresistible bite. These quick and easy crisps are baked to golden perfection and perfect for parties, lunchboxes, or snacking straight from the tray.
Ingredients
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese (or a mix)
- ½ cup cooked spinach (fresh or frozen, well-drained and chopped)
- 2 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional Add-ins:
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- Pinch of crushed red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Make the filling: In a small bowl, combine spinach, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Form cheese bases: Place 1-tbsp mounds of shredded cheese onto the baking sheet, spacing them a couple inches apart.
- Add filling: Spoon a small amount of spinach mixture on top of each cheese mound. Sprinkle a little more shredded cheese over each to seal and crisp.
- Bake: Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are golden and cheese is bubbling.
- Cool: Let crisps cool for 3–5 minutes on the baking sheet to firm up before serving.
Notes
- Add artichokes: Mix in chopped marinated artichoke hearts for spinach-artichoke flavor.
- Spice it up: Add red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce to the filling.
